In this tour you will visit Karahans' fortress  Burana Tower, the divine lake -  Issyk-Kul; also it includes visiting of the unique Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone Castle), primeval stone inscriptions, churches, legendary mosques and many others places of interest. Kyrgyzstan is the place of untouched nature and deep traditions. You will find out about the nomadic life, taste national dishes and drinks. 

 

Tour summary: 

Day 1: Bishkek city
Greeting at Manas International Airport transmit to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you will start the day with a hot breakfast. There in green shady Bishkek you will have a guided city tour including lunch. You will visit the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others nice and interesting places You will have a separate program, listing all places visited including a brief explanation. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m. you will spend the night in a Hotel****.

Day 2: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
After a breakfast at 8 o'clock  you will be transmitted to beatific Chon Kemin valley (120km) by car. On the way visiting of  ancient  Burana Tower(Karahans' fortress 11century  ) and museum of  Balbans (stone warriors). Karahans' fortress  After a delicious traditional lunch  you will have a short excursion in picturesque Issyk-Ata gorge. We will arrive at the hospitable Guesthouse Kalmak Ashuu at 7 p.m. After having checked in, you will be served dinner.

Day 3: Chong Kemin - Son Kul Lake
After breakfast we start our drive to the second biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul Lake. Lunch will be taken on the way. Son Kul Lake is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan (3013 meters a.s.l.) it surrounded by picturesque mountains. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads used this wonderful area to graze their cattle.  After our arrival, you will be free to have a rest and enjoy the unsullied nature of the lake .  Dinner and overnight will be in traditional nomadic dwellings - yurts.  A yurta is unchangeable nomad's dwelling. It is made of a wooden skeleton and covered by felt. Kyrgyz people live in yurts since the very ancient times till nowdays.  

Day 4: Son Kul Lake
At 9 am is your breakfast. Free time at shores of Son-Kul Lake, that you can use to explore its nature on your own. You can ride along the lake on a local strong and well trained horse, or just relaxing in the yurt camp watching everyday life of nomads. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Then you will see ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones. You will spend the night in yurts.  

Day 5: Son Kul Lake - At Bashi
After a breakfast we leave the Guesthouse at 8 o'clock by car that brings us to the gorgeous At Bashi valley (200km). You will be amazed by the perfect scenery offered through views the untouched nature. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m. After that you will spend the night in yurts.

Day 6: At Bashi - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone castle)
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock Then you will be transmitted to the mysterious Stone Castle Tash Rabat- Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (14th century). Tash Rabat located at Tian Shan Mountains, it has no analogue in the whole world, because was built inside a stout rock at a height 3200 m a.s.l.. There are 31 gloomy  rooms in the mountain. Walls there are 1 m. thick.There are also deep prison cells for ancient thieves under the floor. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will spend the night in yurts near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai.

Day 7: Tash Rabat - Kochkor valley
After breakfast you departure to Kochkor village (185 km). At the Kochkorka village you will meet a family that presents you the way of how national woolen felt carpets are produced. You will have a chance to create your own carpet. You will have delicious dinner with a local family, watching a special national music show. Overnight in the Kochkor Guesthouse.  

Day 8: Kochkor valley - Tamga village
Breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you will drive to the majestic Issyk-Kul Lake (200 km), the second biggestalpine lake in the world (1608m.a.s.l.). "the pearl of Central Asia" as it also called. On the way you will drive through the astonishing valley and you will pass the effulgent Orto Tokoi reservoir. When we are in Tamga village you will have a rest on the southern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul has many healingproperties. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m. in Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night.  

Day 9: Tamga - Karakol
After a  breakfast at 8 o'clock you have plenty of  time to enjoy pure and warm water in the lake. At 12 pm. you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (50km). You will take lunch in the Karakol. Then you will have a guided Karakol City Tour. The tour includes the visit of the picturesque Dungan mosque. One of its attractions is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without metal parts. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church with a unique icon inside. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the greatest explores of Central Asia. His the most important achievements were the crossing of the desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. National dinner will be at 8 p.m. Night in a Guesthouse.   

Day 10: Karakol - Altin Arashan - Karakol
After a breakfast you will be transmitted to the Altin Arashan Gorge by a heavy Russian military 4WD vehicle. Altin Arashan ("Golden Spa") gorge is one of the most beautiful gorges in Karakol because of the stately Tian-Shan fir trees that grow everywhere there. After taking a bath in hot springs (in the special little cabins) you will have lunch  at unrealy beautiful landscape. After thatyou will have 1 hour to walk and explore the gorge and then you will be moved to the city. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Night in a Guesthouse.  

Day 11: Karakol - Cholpon Ata
Breakfast is served at 8 o'clock. After the breakfast you will be transmitted to Cholpon Ata the northern shore of  the glittering pearl of Central Asia- Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way, we will make a short break at 1 pm, where you can enjoy lunch in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. After that there will be continuation of the way with visiting the stone depictions (dating back to 800 B.C.) including the museum. The museum is dedicated to the Issyk-Kul Lake, and  you will be able to enjoy it beauty to the full during another break, where you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat. Your dinner will be served at 7 pm in a Hotel, where you will also spend the night. 

Day 12: Cholpon Ata - Bishkek
After breakfast and till 11 o'clock - Free time on the beach. After that you will drive to Bishkek city (280km) by car through a very picturesque  Boom Gorge. At 7 pm a farewell dinner is served. Night in a Hotel****.  

Day 13: Bishkek - Europe
Your guide will pick you up from your Hotel transmit to Manas International Airport at the time arranged previously.
