We would like to present this biking tour for those people, who want to explore real wild places of the heavenly mountains of Kyrgyzstan. It is a perfect chance to feel the nature! You will cycle in the places, which are far away from busy civilization. The route of this biking tour passes along untouched mountain ravines where you will meet real nomads. You will see yurts - nomadic felt dwellings on your way. The owners of yurts are very hospitable and they will invite you to have a cup of tea.
Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek
In Manas International Airport your guide will pick you up and accompany you to Bishkek. Transfer for the Airport to Bishkek City takes half an hour. On arrival in Bishkek you will start the day with a breakfast. You will have a rest after accommodation in the hotel*** that is located in the tranquil part of the city. Today an excursion to Natural Park Ala-Archa will be organized for you. The Ala - Archa Park is situated 45 km south Bishkek, on the Kyrgyz Ridge (a spur of Tien - Shan), in the Ala-Arch Gorge. In order to observe this famous gorge you will go on the top of the mountain. Transfer to Bishkek. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Overnight is in the hotel***.
Day 2: Bishkek - Tash Rabat (Stone Castle) Caravanserai
Breakfast is in the hotel. Transfer from Bishkek to the Great Silk Road Tash Rabat Caravanserai. Tash Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains, at a height 3200 m above sea level. According to the opinion of the scientists Tash Rabat was constructed in the 14th century A. D. It has no analogue in the world, because it was made of layered stones and moreover it was built inside the mountain. There are 31 rooms in total. There are also underground prison cells for medieval culprits. The walls thickness is one meter. Nearby Tash Rabat Caravanserai you will spend the night in yurt camp.
Day 3: Ride (86 km) Tash Rabat - Moldo village
You will ride from Tash Rabat to Moldo village in the morning after packing your backpacks. At the time of Great Silk Road this way was used by ancient traders. It is a nice chance to feel that you ride along the same way! On camels and horses thousand of merchants were passing there with their goods from China. This is temperate difficulty ride by the asphalt road along the Naryn Valley. Night is in tent camp (alt.1670m. a. s. l.).
Day 4: Moldo village - Kyzyl Korgon canyon
We will ride after the breakfast in sacred stones direction. These are ancient (dating back to 800 B.C.) carvings on the stones. After visiting the site of petroglyphs we leave Son Kul and ride through Kara Keche pass (3381m) to the Djumgal Valley. Upon arrival we will have a walk in the region of red canyons high mountains, snow peaks and rocks. Overnight stay is in tents.
Day 5: Ride Kyzyl Korgon - Kyrk-Kyz pass 3223m
This day we will pass near Kizil Oi (Red Canyon) Village and we will see rocks of different colors, unbelievable panoramic views and summer pastures of the Kyrgyz nomads. On the way to the village you will see outstanding red canyons, which are absolutely different from other mountains in Kyrgyz republic. Travelers are always impressed with the beauty of these places and all of them want to return there one more time. Kizil Oi is a small poor village in the mountains. You will have time to walk there and to see the life of Kyrgyz people in the countryside. Night will be spent in the tent camp.
Day 6: Ride Kyrk-Kyz pass - Ter Jailak pass 2446m - Toluk village (50km)
Today's cycling will be difficult enough. En route we will meet the Kyrgyz herdsmen on their summer pastures. The Kyrgyz nomads always glad to talk with foreign visitors and are very hospitable. You could see their felt dwellings and ask them about their life. It will be also possible to try national drink kumis that has really specific taste. Kumis is made out of fermented mare's milk. Even these days The Kyrgyz nomads come to this place and you can see their nomadic way of lifestyle. Overnight stay is in the tent camp.
Day 7: Ride and transfer to the Toktogul village
Breakfast. After that we start our cycling. The road has a plenty of incredible landscapes and you will never forget them. It becomes evident when you are there that the best creation in the world nature. Our chauffeur will drive behind us. Lunch and transfer to the Village where we can take a shower. Optionally we can drive to the artificial lake. Free time for leisure. We will spend this night in the home stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Bishkek City
We will drive to Bishkek City in the morning. You will be carried away by the remarkable landscapes offered through views of the virgin nature. You will have free time in the city to go shopping and to walk. You will have a dinner in a restaurant in the evening. This night you will spend in the hotel***.
Day 9: Bishkek
Breakfast is in the hotel. This day is destined to the guided Bishkek city tour. First of all we will visit famous Oriental Osh bazaar to walk and bargain for diverse goods. There you will have a feeling as if you are 1000 years ago. After Osh bazaar you will have a city tour. This sightseeing tour comprises the visiting of National Concert Hall and the monument of Manas (legendary Kyrgyz hero), the central part of the capital - Ala-Too Square, the Museum of the Kyrgyz History, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square) and the Museum of Fine Arts. At 7 o'clock in the evening a farewell dinner is served in the café. Overnight stay is in the hotel***.
Day 10: Transfer to the airport
Your guide will meet you at your hotel at the pick up time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompany you to Manas Airport.
