Kyrgyzstan horse riding: Tour 1

We want to present this tour for the adorers of horse riding. During this tour you will ride a horse in different gorges of Kyrgyzstan that are so famous among travelers. Also you will visit our celestial lakes and it is a perfect possibility to live so far from the busy civilization amid nomads.

Tour summary:  

Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake
Your will be collected from Manas International Airport by your guide. Transfer till Bishkek City takes 30 minutes. Your day there will start the day with a breakfast. Afterward you will be transferred (200 km) to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake (1608m.above sea level), that is the second largest alpine lake in the world. The Lake is also called "The Pearl of Tien - Shan Mountains". En route, we will visit the Burana Tower - minaret that dated11th century, and Balbans (stone warriors) open air museum. After having taken a traditional lunch, we will continue our trip to the Lake. After arrival in the Hotel you will have a rest on the northern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sandy beach or swim in the Lake. Issyk - Kul Lake possesses curative qualities due to the salty water. At 7 p.m. your dinner will be served.  

Day 2: Issyk-Kul Lake - Karakol
8 o'clock breakfast. After that you have free time to swim in the lake till 12 p.m. After having rest, you will begin your (200 km) trip to Karakol city by car. On the way, in Cholpon - Ata we will make a short stop to visit ancient inscriptions on the stones that are dated back to 800 B.C., including the local Issik - Kul Museum. The second stop during the trip will be at 12 o'clock, where you can get pleasure from your lunch in a tranquil atmosphere, before you will be able to enjoy to the full beauty of the lake during another break, where you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat. Continuation of our way to Karakol city along the northern shore of the sparkling pearl of Central Asia. National dinner will be in a restaurant  at 8 p.m. in Karakol. There, for additional price you can have a folklore performance there. Night in a Guesthouse.  

Day 3: Karakol - Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley
Breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock. This morning will be entirely dedicated to Karakol City Tour. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. You will see also the wooden Orthodox Church, which construction refers to the end of the 19^th century. Soon after, you will visit the memorial complex of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explorers. Prjevalsky biggest success was the great Taklamakan desert crossing and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse that was later named after the explorer. We will end the City Tour with a traditional lunch and at 1 p.m. we will leave Karakol and start our trip (70 km) to the impressive Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley. En route, you will see spectacular views of red mountains, but before we will visit the thermal mineral springs in Jeli Suu Village, where you will have an opportunity to take a bath. Later on, it will be a horseback riding tour to the Chong Kyzyl Suu Physical and Geographical station for 1 hour.  On the way we will se the yurts of the Kyrgyz nomads. A yurta is an original nomad's dwelling. It is made of a wooden skeleton that is covered by felt. This is a collapsible dwelling that is built without nails. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in yurts.  

Day 4: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Ashu Tor - Chong Kyzyl Suu (6h)
Breakfast. So, at 9 am we will leave the camp and start our horseback riding tour to the Ashu Tor pass (2800m. a. s. l.). With a bit of luck you might see mountain goats. We will have an ascent on horses to an amazing mountain lake after lunch. The lake finds its origin in a glacier. After enjoying the view of the mountain lake we come back to the station. Your dinner is served at 8 p.m. Overnight stay is in yurts.  

Day 5: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Kishi Kyzyl Suu
After an early breakfast at 7 am, you will ride off to the valley of Kishi Kyzyl Suu (lunch on the way) - it is a gorgeous canyon that you will definitely like (6h). You will be carried away by the amazing scenery offered through views the untouched nature. We will arrive in Kishi Kyzyl village at 7 pm, where you will have half an hour time to settle in your tents, before being served a traditional dinner.  

Day 6: Kishi Kyzyl Suu village - Jumakuchak
We continue our horseback riding tour after breakfast from the Valley of  Kishi Kyzyl Suu to Jumakuchak via the small Jumalai pass, where we will have a picnic. This ride takes 6 hours. You will have a chance to explore its virgin nature on your own. There is a dazzling view on the surface of Issyk-Kul Lake. Overnight is in Jumakuchak in tents among nomadic yurts of the Kyrgyz people. Dinner is served at 7 p.m.  

Day 7: Jumakuchak - Kok Terek village
This day starts with a breakfast at 8 a.m. Next, you will mount your horse to take a ride (6h) from Jumakuchak to Kok Terek Village. En route you will come across the red cave that is known as "500 rams" and a charming mountain cascade. You will have your lunch nearby cascade. This cascade is situated not far from the (40 degrees Celsius) hot springs that are also possible to visit if you desire. After having break we continue our way to the Village Kok Terek. Our dinner and overnight will be in a home stay.  

Day 8: Kok Terek - Bishkek
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock after packing your luggage. After breakfast you will be transferred to Bishkek city by vehicle along the famous Issyk-Kul Lake southern shore (380 km). We will arrive in Bishkek in a Hotel **** at around 8 p.m. In the hotel you will have time for yourself. You will be picked up at 7 p.m. to have a farewell dinner in a restaurant.  

Day 9: Bishkek - Europe
Breakfast is served at 9 o'clock. Then we start our Bishkek city tour (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. At 2 p.m. you will have lunch. The rest of the day is at your own disposal. Pick up and transfer from the hotel.
