Welcome to our country of the celestial mountains! This trek is perfect for those who love nature and trekking. We made a special tour that will take place on the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake which is the second deepest lake in the world!. During this tour you will see our famous lake and real nomads. You will sleep not only in guesthouses but also in yurts - nomadic dwellings made of wood and felt.

Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek
Your guide will pick you up at Manas International Airport and accompany you to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you will start the day with a breakfast. After accommodation in a hotel*** that is placed in a clam part of the city you will have a rest. Afterwards you will have an excursion to a beautiful Natural Park Ala-Archa. It is sited in the Ala-Arch gorge, on the Kyrgyz ridge (a spur of Tien-Shan), in 45 km from Bishkek - capital of Kyrgyzstan. You will go to the top of a mountain to have a nice view of this famous gorge. Returing to Bishkek. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Night in a Hotel***. 

Day 2: Bishkek - Jukku gorge
Breakfast is at 7 a.m. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Jukku gorge by bus and your guides will tell you about nomads' life, customs and their unusual traditions. On the way, we will drive through the stunning Boom gorge. Then will continue our way to the Jukku gorge along the southern shore of the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake.This is the second largest mountain lake in the world (1608 m. above sea level) after Titikaka in South America. The Lake is also famous as "the pearl of Central Asia". On the way we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century) and its attached open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). When we come to Jukku gorge you will have hiking through the gorge to our tent camp. Dinner is served in the camp, where you will also spend the night. 

Day 3: Jukku gorge
Today you will have acclimatization in Jukku gorge, where you will have the opportunity to explore its nature on your own. You can hike along the incredible gorge to take a bath in mineral hot water springs; go on its nearest peaks, visit red mountains or just relaxing in the atmosphere of calm nature. There are astounding mountains, red rocks, and a cave that is called "500 rams". It is a great chance to get familiar with nomadic traditions, customs and culture. Because there are nomads who still live in yurts and come to this summer pastures with their lifestock and they are very hospitable and welcoming. It is possible to try national drink Kumis (alcohol mare's milk) there. National dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You are able to see the way of national food cooking and you will have a opportunity even to participate in the process to be closer to nomads' life.   

Day 4: 
Jukku gorge - Chon Kyzyl Suu
As oon as you are done with  breakfast we are off for a hike through the gorge Jukka (2520m above sea level) to the gorge Chon Kyzyl Suu. You will hike along the Great Silk Road as ancient sellers did. During this impressive trip you will see our celestial mountains and terrific views of its pristine nature. You will stop for a night at the campsite positioned right in the gorge. 

Day 5:
 Chon Kyzyl Suu
After a delicious breakfast, we will leave the camp at 9 am and start our hike tour to the marvelous Ashu Tor pass (2800m). After your lunch you will have an ascent to an astonishing mountain lake, which finds its origin in a glacier. With a bit of luck you might see mountain goats known as ibexes. Having enjoyed the view of the mountain lake we come back to the station. Our cooks will teach you the way of national meals making. You can even participate in such an exciting process of national dish "plov" cooking. You will feel as if you are 1000 thousand years ago in wild Tien Shan Mountains. This place is so far from civilization and you can completely relax and enjoy your life there. 

Day 6:
 Chon Kyzyl Suu - Djeti Oguz
After a wonderful breakfast we will start our way to an exciting Djeti Oguz gorge. You will have hiking along striking places and you will be surprised by the changeability of scenes of our mountains. They views replace each other so fast that you do not notice how time passes. 

Day 7:
 Djeti Oguz - Oguz Bashi - Djeti Oguz
Today you will have hiking up to the Oguz Bashi glacier. You will see many yurts on your way. A yurta is unique nomad's dwelling which is made of a wooden skeleton that is covered by felt. This is a collapsible dwelling built without nails. You will have a nice picnic with a view of the glacier and then we will come back to our camp. 

Day 8: Djeti Oguz
In the morning you will have time to walk in this stunning gorge. You will have several guides which mean that you will a number of options of what to do during the day. Some of you can hike to a mountain waterfall; others can go down the gorge to a resort that was built in Soviet time. It will be possible to take a bath with hot springs and have massage there if you wish. Or you can hike to the Red rocks that have bizarre forms. Because of these rocks the whole gorge was named. Djeti Oguz means "7 bulls". Indeed it looks like huge bulls from a far distance. Also you will see there the Broken Heart Mountain and your guides will tell you a thrilling legend about it. In the evening you will taste our national meal - kurdak. You can also participate in its making to find out all secrets of nomadic cooking. During your send-off mountain dinner you will enjoy Kyrgyz Folklore show. You will listen to our nomadic songs and atypical national Kyrgyz instruments.  

Day 9: Djeti Oguz - Issyk Kul Lake
Having packed your backpacks, you are to be served breakfast at 9 o'clock Then you will havehiking down to the Djeti Oguz gorge. It has a nice mountain river flowing along the whole gorge. When we will come to the bottom of the gorge you can walk for 15 minutes on the top of the nearest mountain - there is a stunning view on Djeti Oguz rocks and red mountains around! Then you will be brought to the northern shore of the Issyk Kul Lake which is second largest mountain lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also known as "the pearl of Central Asia". Dinner will be served in a guesthouse, where you will also spend the night.  

Day 10: Issyk Kul - Bishkek
You are served the breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then we move back to Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). In Bishkek you will have time to go for a walk around the city and to purchase souvenirs.  At 7 pm a farewell dinner is served.  

Day 11: Flight home
Early in the morning you will be transferred to the airport.
